Lion Den Resources

Welcome to the Pack 42 Lion Den Resource Page!

The Lion Badge of Rank is specially designed for kindergarten-age youth, offering an exciting introduction to the world of Cub Scouting. With the Cub Scout Lion Handbook as their guide, Scouts embark on a fun-filled journey through six required and twenty elective Lion Adventures, providing a variety of engaging activities. The handbook includes easy-to-follow instructions and features popular characters from the Scout Life magazine‘s “Lion Pride” cartoon strip, making it an interactive experience for young Cub Scouts.

Supporting the Scout’s journey is the Lion Adult Partner Guide, an essential resource for parents or guardians who accompany their Scouts. This guide provides detailed insights into the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) program, including the goals and methods of Cub Scouting. It also outlines how to organize and lead Lion Den meetings and explains the specific requirements for completing Lion Adventures.

Both the Lion Handbook and the Adult Partner Guide ensure that Scouts and their adult partners have the tools they need to successfully navigate the Lion Cub Scout program. Together, they offer a strong foundation for a rewarding and educational experience in Orlando Cub Scout Pack 42.
